"I WILL REMEMBER MY COVENANT"

From the January 1946 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The promise still stands, serene, secure,
"I do set my bow in the cloud . . .
And I will remember my covenant."
To earth and mankind, God avowed
That never again should the flood overwhelm
And destroy all that seems to be.
That everlasting covenant
Will remain for eternity.

How shall we use this message from God
For the good of the world today,
To comfort the sorrowing, bring them the truth,
And help lift their burdens away?
Acknowledge God's presence, His almighty power.
With our heads in humility bowed.
Mankind will be healed if we realize this:
"I do set my bow in the cloud."
