The history of this text-book has been that of a healing and regenerating agency, and the constant accumulation of such testimony as that referred to is proof that the works which our Master performed are still going on in his name, and in accord with his promises. ...
The fact that thousands of persons have been healed or reformed through their first reading of this book, is the best evidence that it is the most efficient exponent of our faith, and that it is, beyond all other, the most valuable literature for both adherent and inquirer. The simple and learned alike are being healed by it.
