LETTERS

From the April 2004 issue of The Christian Science Journal

What an incredible issue [February]. I am so inspired and uplifted by all of the wonderful sharing in this Journal, from relationship problems to head injuries to handling beliefs about age. Each article has spoken to me in different ways. I want to express my profound gratitude for the section "Looking Back, Looking Forward—at the Church Mrs. Eddy designed." To hear more about our early workers and Mrs. Eddy's counsel to them was thrilling, as was hearing from our healers today from all parts of the world.

Thank you so much for this beautiful [February] issue about love, family, relationships, and the Christian Science practice. That woke me up. The desire to help humanity has been there for years, but I think it's time to start moving. The article from Jer Master [p. 32] is a jewel. It helped me to realize that calm is inside, since I live also in a very noisy city as she does. I already shared the magazine with a friend who is eager to have a husband. For me, it is like continuing to learn about how to practice Christian Science and knowing that others have been there with results. The three answers given in the Your Q&A section about pain were awakening, too. Thank you for the clarity. This, I think, is what is needed.
