REAL CERTAIN

A CONVERSATION WITH LAMEICE HARDING

From the July 2006 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The word determination comes to mind as describes her journey from childhood to adulthood. She's certain that God is with her, that He's speaking to her, and that His love for her and for everyone knows no bounds.

Those who like to climb steep hills know the stamina it takes. LAMEICE HARDING has made considerable progress on her upward journey on the steep hill of life. Raised in California by her Syrian parents, LaMeice worked as a child actor, and later became the owner of a floral design business, then ran an insurance agency, raised a family, and, ultimately, found the work she loves most–being a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science.

From the moment she opened Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, LaMeice says, she began to discover the God she felt she had always known. She also learned a method of healing that she began to apply to herself and to others. With each step upward, LaMeice says she has come to feel closer and closer to the best traveling companion anyone could ever have, God. She says the higher she climbs, the better the view. A view, she realizes, that was always there, just waiting to be discovered.
