GOD RULES

A CONVERSATION WITH SABRINA STILLWELL

From the October 2007 issue of The Christian Science Journal

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE PRACTITIONER AND TEACHER SABRINA STILLWELL FROM OGDEN, UTAH, TELLS HOW TRUST IN GOD, THE DIVINE SPIRIT, SILENCES FEAR — AND COMFORTS, GUIDES, AND RESCUES.

Children have always played a significant role in 's life. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Development, and after graduation loved working as a teacher of young children because of their natural curiosity and innocence. Today, after having raised their own three children, she and her husband, Rob, continue to keep kids a part of their lives, enjoying life as the grandparents of four.

When she herself was a child, Sabrina witnessed many physical healings in her home that resulted from Christian Science treatment. These healings sparked her natural desire to understand divine Truth and to dedicate herself to the in-depth study and practice of Christian Science. She began advertising her public healing practice in the Journal in 1992. Later Sabrina served as committee on Publication for the state of Utah for three and a half years, during which time she also worked as a Christian Science chaplain for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, near her home in Ogden. Sabrina became a teacher of Christian Science in 2003.
