On page six in the September Journal, a question included a concern that everyone in the writer’s branch church is over 65.
While I understand the importance of having a multi-age membership, this comment made me laugh out loud. You see, my roommate and I are both in our sixties. Last year I was relisted in the Journal as a practitioner, and last year she opened her own real estate brokerage. We are very active in church and have very active, joyous lives outside of church. I feel younger now than when I was in my forties.
With what we have learned in Christian Science about God being our Life, we are not getting older; we are getting newer.
