Dear Fellow Members and Friends,
The Annual Meeting of our Church is a provision that blesses us in so many ways as one global church family. Some members unite at this meeting in Boston, USA, but for most, this unification occurs in thought and is supported by the live or replay video on the Internet and through reports in the Journal and in the Herald in four languages. Communication avenues are widening and improving, and we’re finding more effective ways to share our Church activity, which can spread beyond the field reports given at Annual Meeting.
Perhaps you’ve noticed some efforts we’ve made to maintain continuity and increase interest between these once-a-year gatherings. For example, the Church Alive section on christianscience.com is playing a major role in sharing, supporting, and encouraging new ways of carrying out our various church activities. We’ve also released several videos in the months between Annual Meetings that highlight progress reports and experiences from all over the world.
