All channels open!

From the December 2013 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Picture a river channel snaking through a deep canyon. Or the wide English Channel between England and France. Manufactured goods flow from sellers to buyers through distribution channels. What about diplomatic channels? And all manner of media channels—TV, radio, digital?

What do they have in common? The movement of something—water, goods and services, ideas, information. A channel also implies flow and direction toward some outcome or destination.

In Christian Science the most valuable channels to consider are channels of thought. In our thinking, ideas come and go, or develop. And every thought has an outcome that depends on the nature or quality of that thought.
