Christian Science healing: not inexplicable, not a miracle

From the July 2017 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Many years ago, long before I knew anything about Christian Science, I opened the sash window in my bedroom, and the sash cord broke. The window came crashing down on my hands, trapping both my thumbs. I attempted to move it with my chin, but it was impossible, as the window was very heavy. I shouted for help, but I was in the house alone and there was no one who could hear. I felt absolutely desperate and found myself shouting out loud with a yearning heart, “Oh God, please help me!”

Almost immediately, I found my thumbs were suddenly free. There were dents in them initially, but those soon disappeared, and I suffered no lasting injuries. That was a great relief to me, since I was studying piano performance at the time.

There is a Science behind spiritual healing.
