When Jesus was upon the cross,
friends may have thought all hope was lost.
The good he shared looked all undone,
but, oh, the best was yet to come.
Before too long he walked again
and proved God’s love can never end.

And now today for you and me,
we celebrate divinity.
No threat can take God’s love away
or hide His might, assured each day.
Soul sings its song with blessings new,
empowered by what’s lasting, true.

For all of life, for every man,
is held secure in God’s great plan
to show His care, His mercy, grace
still reign supreme in every place.
The Christ remains to teach once more
that Love will triumph as before.
