Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE AND THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

THE English language has been made the channel through which the statement of Christian Science has been given to the world, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.

EVIL WITHOUT ORIGIN

In the Revelation of St. John, evil is depicted as that which deceiveth the whole world and which hath but a short time.

LEARNING, THE SERVANT OF SCIENCE

How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? — John , 7:15. AT the time Jesus the Christ was teaching the way of life, "letters," that is, the books of the Law and of the Prophets, accompanied by explanations and amplifications of the text, were the summary of learning among the Jews.

AS A MAN THINKETH

As the sunlight penetrates every nook and corner where an entrance is found possible, casting out the darkness and all the creatures of darkness, so the light of Truth and Love enters human consciousness, casting out the darkness of ignorance, superstition, and false educated belief, and saving humanity from everything unlike God. UNREALITY OF MATTER

The masses are apt to idealize this man, and when one who has admired him afar off comes to meet him face to face, it frequently happens that disappointment is expressed because the great man is so simple and quiet.

We are pleased to announce the publication of an edition of "Rudimental Divine Science" by Mary Baker G. Eddy, in the New York point system of type for the blind.

THE FIRST LOVE AND THE FIRST WORKS

A MIGHTY call has come to modern Christendom. An exhortation, swelling with ever-increasing volume and advancing with irresistible momentum, is urging Christians everywhere to return to their "first love" and do the "first works.

A GREETING FROM ENGLAND

London, England, November 21, 1905. Dear Mrs.

THE FULFILMENT OF PROPHECY

Some have said they do not believe that Christian Science is the truth, because there are no prophecies in the Bible concerning it. They admit its healing virtue, but consider it a human agency.
