Testimonies of Healing

When I joined a branch church two years ago, I considered giving testimonies of healing at Wednesday services. I had always felt uncomfortable talking in front of more than two or three people, and resolved to overcome these feelings with prayer.

I was the director of the school Scott attended. After Scott collapsed, I stayed with him until his mother came to pick him up.

How good it is to be able to testify to the power of prayer, and to look forward to a divine adventure in the Science of Mind-healing. As this century draws to a close, eight decades of my life testify to the joy and satisfaction of practicing Christian Science.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to testify to the authenticity of my daughter's testimony. The headmistress of Scott's school telephoned me and asked if I would come immediately to the school and take his little sister Cindy home with me.

I am the son mentioned in the testimony and can vouch for the truthfulness and integrity of my mother. Although I remember little of the condition itself, I clearly recall my feeling of triumph and determination as I walked down the hallway of our home unaided, which I remember being unable to do earlier.

Christian Science has brought great joy to my life. I have had many healings that were clearly the result of prayer.

Christian Science came to my attention as the result of a deep longing to bring more good into my life. I also wanted to be free from a lifestyle that included social drinking and shallow relationships.

I'm so glad to share a recent healing. This evidence of the power of prayer and trust in God's care came about, in part, because of the many wonderful testimonies shared in the Christian Science periodicals.

I have been a student of Christian Science for many years, and think the time is long overdue to submit a testimony. Recently, whilst on holiday, I received a telephone call to say that my house had been ransacked.

Christian Science came into our family when a relative was healed after doctors gave up the case as terminal. Over the years, we have had numerous healings, including those of colds, flu, childhood diseases, tonsillitis, bee stings, animal bites, and sprains.
