Church in Action

One-to-one

From the September 1970 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Ask yourself, "Have I shared Christian Science one-to-one today?"

"One-to-one" is an action program launched last November by the Department of Branches and Practitioners of The Mother Church. It is designed to help individual Christian Scientists recognize and reach the unprejudiced thought in the people they meet all day long.

Heartwarming reports are coming in daily to Charles Louis Reilly, Manager of the department, showing that "millions of unprejudiced minds—simple seekers for Truth, weary wanderers, athirst in the desert—are waiting and watching for rest and drink," just as Mrs. Eddy says. And that we can "give them a cup of cold water in Christ's name, and never fear the consequences." Science and Health, p. 570.
