Church in Action

The unforgettable things

From the December 1971 issue of The Christian Science Journal

What unforgettable thing did you learn from the 1971 Biennial College Meeting?

Girl from Australia: The power of love. Love is the essence of healing, and I knew I hadn't loved enough. But the potential is infinite! And you got the idea that you didn't have to be fifty before you could be a good Christian Scientist.

Boy from New York City: I could see that racism doesn't have much future among Christian Scientists. We're going to bury it along with poverty, war, and all other ungodlike things.
