My family and I were introduced to Christian Science through a healing I had when I was about seven years old. Mother had heard of Christian Science through two sisters who were Christian Scientists. One of them had given her a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
The practitioner she called, from a list given her by a Christian Science Reading Room, told her to study the Lord's Prayer from the Bible. She asked if Mother would be willing to let me go to school the following morning if I wanted to. The answer was Yes.
