In addition to projects related to Reading Room promotion, the Trustees Under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy grant program will continue to offer support for a variety of projects to aid branch church efforts in holding welcoming, healing church services, testimony meetings, Sunday Schools, and lectures.

Dedication of a branch church or society is a public affirmation of the importance of Church in the lives of Christian Scientists and in the community. When an edifice is free of debt, churches and societies often hold a dedicatory service.

The decision to discontinue Webster’s 1828 dictionary is part of the continual effort of The Christian Science Publishing Society to review and give fresh consideration to the reference materials we provide for sale in Reading Rooms.
