A NEW FEATURE IN THE INTERESTS OF THE SUNDAY SCHOOL

From the October 1938 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The work of the Christian Science Sunday School is of great importance because of its effect on the thought and character of those, the pupils, who, after leaving it, or even before, become members of the Church of Christ, Scientist. With this in view, it has been thought that teachers and pupils in our Sunday schools might be aided through the columns of the Sentinel to an extent greater than heretofore. To that end, space will be devoted to Sunday school affairs as often as the material received warrants it. Accordingly, we shall be glad to receive from church members, superintendents, teachers, and pupils of the Sunday schools interesting items of an appropriate nature, telling of the benefits derived from the teaching given in the Sunday school. Short extracts from outstanding papers read at teachers' meetings will also be acceptable for consideration, as well as helpful suggestions regarding various phases of the work.—
