Why not?
I remember so well the first time the thought came to me that I should try to write an article for the Christian Science periodicals. All I could think of was, "Me? Write for the periodicals? That's ridiculous!"
I had no writing talent to speak of. Furthermore, I didn't like to write. I had always been one of those last minute let's-just-get-the-thing-done term paper writers. Besides, my wife was the writer in the family. Why in the world should I muscle in on her territory? So I repeated to myself, "That's ridiculous!" And added vigorously, "Forget it!"
