IT WAS A LOVELY FALL DAY, and I was playing with my two small granddaughters after they returned home from school. They loved swinging on their swings and having me throw piles of leaves on them.
At one point, however, I got too close and one of them accidentally kicked me in the forehead. This knocked me off balance, and I fell to the ground. They were sorry for what had happened, and I shared with them this verse from the Bible: "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust" (Ps. 91:4). I told them that in God's love you're always safe and protected. The pain completely dissipated.
Right then, the lump vanished.
