Dear Friends,
We are grateful for God’s strong, clear direction and enabling spirit that has resulted in our electing Moji George, CSB, of Lagos, Nigeria, as the new member of the Board of Directors of The First Church of Christ, Scientist. The appointment was effective as of July 14, 2023.
Moji has served our Church as practitioner, teacher, Committee on Publication, lecturer, First Reader of The Mother Church, and Associate Editor of the periodicals, along with serving in many roles in her local branch church in Lagos. We imagine that most of you have been inspired in the recent past by her reading at The Mother Church and by her editorial writing, which have emanated from her dedication to God and commitment to Christian Science—qualities that will continue to bless our movement in her new position.
We are grateful for the support of her family, including her husband, Hector, and son, Akin, as she accepts this new role.
