Connie Coddington, Manager of Christian Science Practitioner Activities for The Mother Church, recently interviewed Elizabeth Trevithick, a Journal-listed Christian Science practitioner, on what a seeker for healing might expect when first contacting a practitioner. divider What is a Christian Science practitioner? Can you explain some of what you do as a practitioner? First off, Christian Science treatment is not a talking cure.

The year 2017 marks an inspiring anniversary in the history of Christian Science: It is 100 years since, in 1917, The Mother Church first endorsed military chaplains in the United States to minister to Christian Scientists serving during World War I.
