I desire to express my gratitude for the instantaneous healing of grief and loss when my brother passed on four years ago. He was not a Christian Scientist and was under medical treatment. I was nursing him from time to time, and when the crisis came suddenly I seemed overwhelmed with fear and consternation. In my anguish I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner and asked for help, and I rejoice in giving glory to God for the wonderful healing that I received. Before I left the telephone I was free, and the freedom has continued. I have had many, many healings through Christian Science before and since, but I have never had one for which I am more profoundly grateful. I was healed of periodical headaches, which would continue for several days, after reading Science and Health a short time; also of chills and fever after a duration of six weeks. One night the assurance came to me from the book of Daniel. "Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us." The next morning I was healed and all sense of weakness was overcome.
Words fail me to express my gratitude for this great truth, for our literature, and for the help I have received from friends. While to sense the road at times has seemed rocky, I am rejoicing that every difficulty overcome is another proof of Truth's power.— Little Rock, Ark.
