I find words inadequate to express my gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me through the gentle ministry of Christian Science. I first heard of Christian Science while visiting in the West, but gave little thought to it at the time. Several years later, my mother received a wonderful healing. It was then that I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Through the reading of this book I learned of a God of love, with whom I did not have to plead. I learned that He is an ever present help.
I have been healed of heart trouble, pronounced by leading physicians incurable. I was told to avoid all excitement if I wished to prolong my life. I asked for Christian Science treatment, which I received, and was healed. This healing is so complete that I am able to accomplish more than at any time since my childhood. I am striving to overcome self, and to demonstrate the Golden Rule. I am very grateful for the good I am gaining through the study of the Lesson-Sermons and the reading of the periodicals.
