It is my desire to testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. I have been a student of this Science for over eight years and have found that when it is correctly applied it never fails to give quick and lasting results.
From early childhood I had been a member of an orthodox church, in which I was an active worker until I realized I needed a demonstrable religion. Through the reading of our textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, I gained a concept of God that freed me from constant financial worry and physical weakness. As Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Many unlovely traits of character, such as temper, sensitiveness, and selfishness, are giving way to patience, love, humility, and self-forgetfulness, as a better understanding of man in God's image is gained.
