An increasing appreciation of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and of the Christian Science movement, prompts me to express gratitude for many blessings received through the study of this Science.
I had the great privilege of sixteen years of attendance at a Christian Science Sunday School. I am sincerely grateful for the knowledge of Christian Science thus gained, which has proved to be a firm foundation for further study in this wonderful truth.
I have had many healings through the application of Christian Science, some through my own efforts to use the truths learned, and some with the loving and faithful help of a practitioner. While attending school I suffered from attacks of tonsillitis and laryngitis each winter. When told by the school nurse during a compulsory examination that my tonsils should be removed, I determined to claim man's God-given dominion over all error. I am grateful to say that this difficulty has been entirely overcome.
