THE VISION

From the August 1943 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Though it tarry, it will come,
Vision infinite and pure,
God-sent light to guide men home,
Love's protection, safe and sure.
Tarry though the vision may,
Wait for it and do not weep.
Though distress may darken day,
Joyous riches men shall reap.
Surely it will come and show
Men the path they all must tread,
Ever striving first to know
God, and by His laws be led.
