Testimonies of Healing

"To the end that my glory may sing...

From the October 1967 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent." These words in Psalm 30 impelled me to write the following account of a few of the beneficial effects of the application of Christian Science in my family.

About thirteen years have passed since my interest in Mary Baker Eddy's discovery was aroused by a healing one of our children experienced. At that time I thought myself to be agnostic.

Christian Science was offered by a dear friend when all seemed dark, and the immediate healing our daughter experienced started me out to see what had caused the good result. At first the investigation was from a pessimistic standpoint, looking for what kind of new ism or ology was involved. The longer I studied, the more I became aware of the nature of the governing force of the universe as God, divine Principle.
