Having been raised in a Christian Science home and attended a Christian Science Sunday School, I have experienced the blessings and joys of this wonderful way of life.
I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church since I was a young girl, and for being divinely led to have class instruction. This was before I was married. The inspiration and understanding gained from these lovely, progressive steps in Christian Science are most beneficial to me now as a young wife and mother. There have been many joyous healings and righting of situations for which I am deeply grateful.
My love for and understanding of Christian Science grew immensely when my husband went to Vietnam and I traveled to Thailand alone with an infant in order to live near him. In this challenging situation an understanding of God's love and protection for the three of us in our different environments kept us free from fear or doubt. We have had physical healings of burns, effects of accidents, skin irritations, colds, severe headache, nausea, swelling, and injuries from falls. We have also known God's protection when there were predictions of fever, and danger from traveling in a war zone. My husband was protected from injury while in combat.
