Gratitude for presence

From the March 1984 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Your Wednesday testimony meetings—you say
they aren't well attended?
The same ones testify all the time, while others sit
and never say a word—week after week?

Be grateful for each one's presence! Cherish it. Love it.
Remember the effort made to get to church,
the spiritual commitment needed just to be there,
the fact that in church, as with the loaves and fishes,
each one represents the infinite I AM, the
All of substance.
Presence declares Immanuel.
Presence is sacred.
(Father, open our eyes to see more of Your infinite manifestation!)

As for the getting up and speaking—
presence can't abide alone.
Omnipresence, omnipotence, omniscience = indivisible Love.
To reflect divine Being is to individualize divine
presence, power, understanding,
simultaneously.
(Father, forgive us for seeing less than Your complete manifestation!)

Holy PRESENCE/POWER/UNDERSTANDING:
Dear ones who testify, take note—
dear ones who don't, take heart—
"to be" is to be able to impart all three.
