Church Bulletin Board

Whether at a shopping mall, on a college campus, or in the foyer of a church, a bulletin board is a great place for people to share information. You can learn a lot about an active community from reading local bulletin boards. We hope you'll enjoy this bulletin board and feel encouraged to join in and share experiences.

Last year I was invited to teach the youngest class in our Sunday School. My first reaction was that I didn't know what or how to teach in a Sunday School, let alone that particular age level.

The first few weeks brought many ups and downs. Mostly downs on my part, for I soon found out that it didn't pay to go unprepared. True, these little ones couldn't read and their attention span was short, but they were lively, alert; and one thing was certain, you couldn't put anything over on them. I found it was not enough to arrive on Sunday expecting to acquaint them with a Bible story that I had only a superficial knowledge of. I had to know the story inside out. I had to have a feel, an enthusiasm, for the story I was relating; if I didn't, the little ones sensed it, and their attention was soon lost and so was I. . . .
