I came to know about Christian Science through a friend at a time when I was facing a severe ordeal. My religion had failed to provide me with an answer, and I had begun to wonder if God was cruel. A myriad of questions assailed me and gave me no peace.
It was at this stage that a few copies of the Christian Science Sentinel reached me through my friend, who assured me that I would find an answer. I opened the Sentinels with trepidation and read them. It was thrilling to read that people were experiencing God's healing presence in their lives today.
I promptly obtained the book Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The book's lucid and logical explanations about God and His powerful laws and all-encompassing love showed me a new world.
