An invitation to branch churches near military installations

Christian Science Ministers for Armed Services Personnel are civilians appointed by their branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, to help meet the needs of Christian Science active-duty service personnel, and their dependents, at military installations. Branch churches in the United States that have one or more military installations near them may wish to appoint a member to serve as a Christian Science Minister. In the course of their healing ministry, these individuals visit a base regularly, contact the Christian Scientists stationed there, and provide Christian Science treatment to military personnel and dependents when requested to do so. These Ministers maintain regular contact with the base chaplains and other military officials, and are generally available to offer assistance as needed on the base. If your church wishes to appoint a Christian Science Minister and/or would like more information, please call Military Ministry in the Clerk's Office at (800) 288-7155, ext. 3470 or write to:
