Poems

The quickening Spirit

From the February 2011 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Speak to me, speak to me
God’s angels, at my bedside.
Speak to me, divine Love.In your presence
Vanquished are the idols of sickness.
I am healed, as You speak to me
The words which our great Master spoke,
“Loose him, and let him go”!

Speak to me, speak to me
Spirit. Words have power
as the Spirit speaks.
Speak to me. In humility
I present a listening ear,
As You speak to me.
Quickened by the Spirit, I rise, free.
Your power raises the dead:
“Loose him, and let him go”!
