Three years ago, a friend of mine invited me to attend a Sunday School class at a Christian Science branch church located near my home. Besides being warmly welcomed by everyone, I so much liked the ideas I learned about God in Sunday School that I never stopped attending . In the beginning I went with my friend, but eventually I started going on my own every Sunday. I enjoy reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and the Bible, but I especially like studying the Christian Science Bible Lesson with my Sunday School teacher.
One day, in September of last year, when I was at school, I noticed on one of my hands a lump, which started growing and aching.
My mom is not a student of Christian Science and took me to the doctor, who said that the growth was a cyst. He recommended surgery to remove it, and scheduled the preoperative examinations.
