I did not become interested in Christian Science through any physical healing, but because it appealed to me as a practical, every-day religion. Numerous physical ailments, however, have been overcome, the first being chronic bilious attacks. One healing filled me with great awe and reverence. I had accidentally poured boiling water over one of my hands, just as a Scientist came into the room. She at once declared the truth and all pain left instantly; and in less than five minutes all discoloration had disappeared.
Until I came into Science I spent a pampered, petted existence and had all the worldly pleasures desired, yet was far from being satisfied and found life a greater enigma every day. Now I greet each day joyfully, glad of another opportunity to find out more about God.— Snow Hill, Md.
