DELIVERANCE

From the January 1931 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.'"—Psalms 107:20.

Be still, O troubled heart, and know
Thy God is ever near;
He is thy Life, on Him rely,
And grief will disappear.

Be still, O wayward heart, and know,
Though dark the path may seem,
Thy God is Truth; He calleth thee,
And will His child redeem.

Be still, O weary heart, and know
Thy God is Love divine;
And He will give thee rest and peace.
His strength is ever thine.

Be still, O doubting heart, and know
Thy God, omnipotent,
Delivereth thee from every foe—
His healing Word He's sent.
