Over thirty years ago, when I first began the study of Christian Science, I sent in a testimony of the healing of a young son, of adenoids and infected tonsils. With deep gratitude I feel impelled to testify again to the wonderful years of harmony that have followed. The healing of our son was permanent.
Through the faithful study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and the Christian Science literature, I am finding the new heaven and the new earth—the promised land—peace and harmony far beyond my fondest expectations. Members of our large family have been mercifully preserved from fire, from drowning, from automobile accidents, and from many temptations to believe in sickness. I am gaining a clearer concept of God, a broader sense of Love, a deeper appreciation of Life and Truth, and, consequently, a peace of mind that truly does pass human understanding: a finding of heaven here and now.
Every day is filled with gratitude for the privilege of serving in our beloved Cause, which has become very dear to me, and for the bountiful supply of helpful and sustaining literature our dear Leader's wisdom has provided for our spiritual growth, and for the continuous joy of seeing that His kingdom is come. My gratitude for Christian Science is boundless, and my whole desire is to be more worthy of the name of Christian Scientist.— Chesterton, Indiana.
