The Pathway Which Is Real

From the March 1949 issue of The Christian Science Journal

We hear of pain and trouble, want and fear.
The dual paths before us now are clear:
The avenues which make reality of what we hear
We must refuse,
And then the glorious way will soon appear to higher views.

The peaceful land of God is everywhere.
We cannot wander from His loving care;
We shall arise and walk with mighty power if we but dare
To realize
The peaceful land of God is everywhere our pathway lies.

This land of His is real. In it we live.
Our way is true and thus affirmative,
Conferring peace and radiant joy which only Truth can give.
It will not cease,
This path of ours. In it we find release
From every error. It is safe and strong.
We walk this sheltered pathway with a song.
