LET ME REMEMBER

From the January 1969 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Let me remember all Thy mercies, Lord,
With grateful understanding of Thy Word:
How at a time when hope and joy had fled,
And doubt obscured the narrow path ahead,
A shining rift within the clouds of sense
Unveiled Thy glorious omnipotence
Upon the mount, revealing unity
Of God and man as truth that makes men free
From sin and sickness, every earthly ill.
Let me remember—Thou art with me still.
