Assured Business Success

From the March 1970 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Everyone engaged in business would like his business experience to be harmonious and successful. However, too often his ventures seem frustrating or fruitless. Many will agree there seems too much toil and too little reward. Is there a way that assures business success?

All business originates as an idea of service, a desire to satisfy a human need, to beautify or happify someone or something in the human experience. When its motive and its commodity and mode of operation are good, it should rightfully prosper.

Since a student of Christian Science realizes his religion is not merely a Sunday event or a contemplative experience, he is grateful he can relate his religion to every facet of his business experience. Mrs. Eddy says in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health, "Metaphysics resolves things into thoughts, and exchanges the objects of sense for the ideas of Soul."Science and Health, p.269; When one is successful in doing this, he will see his ordinary human business steadily progress.
