"Christian Healing: The Demand on Everyone." This was the overall theme of this year's Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, which was held in Boston on June 5. Thousands of Christian Scientists from many parts of the world gathered to hear progress reports from Church officers and a compelling message from The Christian Science Board of Directors challenging each branch church and each member to measure their progress in the light of increased spiritual healing.
A highlight of the meeting was a filmed report on the hundreds of testimonies of healing pouring in from all over the globe. Subsequent evening meetings on June 5 and 6 echoed and amplified the call to the healing practice of Christian Science, as discovered and established by Mary Baker Eddy.
