It Can Be Easy

From the April 1973 issue of The Christian Science Journal

A young Sunday School pupil once happily remarked, "Oh, Christian Science— it's easy!"

It certainly can be. The demonstration of Christian Science should be joyful, not laborious or burdensome. Spiritual understanding should unfold to one with naturalness and clarity. The cultivation of spiritual truth should be buoyant and vitalizing.

Mary Baker Eddy writes, "It was the consummate naturalness of Truth in the mind of Jesus, that made his healing easy and instantaneous." Miscellaneous Writings, p. 200; As we more fully express the discipline of spiritual thinking and living, we too will attain to that naturalness and ease in healing. The possibility is available to all.
