Your "inner compass"

From the April 1980 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Have you lost your way? There is a compass you can use that restores your sense of direction through the law of spiritual attraction.

Most of us know how to use an ordinary compass. We start by finding north. Turning our compass until the needle settles over the N, we calculate accordingly. But many of us may not realize that we all have an "inner compass"—a specific means by which we can start determining the way our lives should be heading according to God's directing. It is a scientific way of discerning God's flawless guidance by learning how to recognize spiritual attraction.

What is spiritual attraction? The activity of Christ, Truth, itself—the power that is constantly drawing thought out of material beliefs toward immortal being and the realization of man's identity as the son of God. Christ, not the material senses, identifies this attraction of Spirit in human experience.
