Resurrection and the path of safety

From the April 1994 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Christ Jesus' experience points to a relationship between safety and the concept of resurrection.

Trace the life of Jesus. In addition to all the unparalleled healing and teaching, he had encounters of another kind. Hostile individuals tried to throw him off a hill. Others hoped to stone him. These people wanted more than anything to put a stop to him and his healing ministry.

What did he do? On one occasion at least (when they would have thrown him off a hill), he simply walked through an angry mob, unnoticed. In each encounter he remained safe.
