Interview with a young person upon completing Sunday School

From the November 1997 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Recently, , a teacher in a Christian Science Sunday School in Ohio, interviewed , who attends Kent State University. Julie was a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School all the years she was of Sunday School age (see Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, Art. XX, Sect. 1). What follows is a portion of that interview.

How would you describe what attending a Christian Science Sunday School has meant to you?

What I learned in Sunday School taught me about coping with any problem—from when I was little and lost toys, all the way up to now with big decisions, such as choosing a college, choosing a career, and marriage. I've found out that understanding a simple statement—such as "God is all around all the time," which I learned when I was in the youngest class—can help me to solve even the most complex problems.
