Years ago when I was a teenager, one day I noticed symptoms of a cavity in one of my back teeth. Since my childhood I’ve been familiar with Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and I decided to treat the tooth condition through Christian Science.
In my first prayers, I argued that this cavity was not God’s will. He was a loving Father-Mother who would cause me to have only good.
I began to clarify in my thought what the truth about this situation was. I knew that because God was all good, and I was included in this allness as His perfect reflection, I could experience only good. I was a spiritual idea, not made from matter.
