Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

Nothing can stand against God

A student shares the challenges and victories involved with hosting a Christian Science lecture on campus.

Proving divine perfection, living a full life

Acknowledging that life is eternal brings progress and new possibilities to our lives.

Good Samaritan qualities and our Reading Room

Many years ago , I was a member of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, whose membership had a deep desire to better serve our community and share our love of spiritual healing with others. We agreed to have a series of inspirational meetings on this topic where members could share ideas gleaned from their individual study and prayer.

The healing lens of humility

Christ Jesus demonstrated that putting God first in daily life takes humility and an unselfed love. Before he was taken by the soldiers and tried, and with the crucifixion in his future, he yielded his human desire to God, and humbly prayed, “Thy will be done” ( Matthew 26:42 ).

Victory through Christ

In difficult times , I’ve been deeply encouraged when I remember the example our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, gave us when he faced the supreme challenge of his ministry as his crucifixion approached. ‘Treasure in heaven’

A rich man once asked Christ Jesus, “What good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” Jesus recommended he “keep the commandments. ”  “All these things have I kept from my youth up,” the man replied.

God knows what we need

Have you ever wanted something so much that you detailed it in your prayers so God could get it exactly right? You should know about the endearing story of a little girl who prayed for a pony. When someone commiserated with her about her prayers not being answered, she said: “Oh, but God did answer.

‘Mary Baker Eddy Mentioned Them’: B. O. Flower

Mary Baker Eddy’s discovery of Christian Science and founding of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, occurred during a period of political and social ferment in the United States—a time known as the Progressive Era. Everywhere, it seemed, conventional wisdom was being questioned and new ideas were being hatched about fairness, ethics, and how society, industry, and other parts of life should be organized and conducted.
