I should like to add my testimony lo that of thousands of others who have been healed through Christian Science. Twentyfive years ago I met with a very serious accident, sustaining internal injuries and fractures. My left knee was so badly injured that the two surgeons who attended me thought it very doubtful if I would ever be able to walk again. After many weeks I recovered sufficiently to walk with crutches, but I was in a very weakened condition, suffering from what the doctors called internal paralysis, which brought on a complication of diseases. I was in bondage to drugs, their constant use resulting in ills from which I was a great sufferer. All the leading physicians pronounced my condition incurable. For weeks at a time I would be unable to walk, as the bones of my knee seemed to slip out of place very easily and required weeks of rest.
At last, four years ago, the knee gave out completely, so that for nearly two years I was unable to walk without i great deal of pain. I had become so weak, ill, and despondent that life did not seem worth living. The doctors had told me I would never get any relief unless I submitted to an operation, and I was about to do so when I was advised to take Christian Science treatment. I consented to have a practitioner come to me. and at the end of two weeks I was healed of those supposedly incurable conditions and growing stronger every day. I took up the study of the Lesson-Sermons, and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and now I am able to go up and down stairs naturally, without any fear of falling or of the bones slipping out of place, and can walk a longdistance without being overtired.
I am very grateful for what Christian Science has done for me. The peace and happiness it has brought into my life more than repay me for all those years of suffering. I thank God for the blessed Bible, and also dear Mrs. Eddy for the Christian Science text-book, which is doing so much for suffering humanity.
