My heart is so full of gratitude for all the blessings Christian Science has brought to me, that I feel it is time I offered my testimony. Christian Science has answered for me all the questions I have been asking about God and His creation ever since I was a child, and has given me an understanding of Him which has grounded my faith upon the rock of Truth, firm and unshaken in storm or strife.
For five years I had suffered unceasing pain from a serious internal condition, and though the doctors in their kindness had done all they could, I was no better. A specialist then advised me to have a serious operation, but to this I would not consent. It was then, in the hour of my need, that the blessing of hope came to me through Christian Science, and as I gradually realized the truth of its teachings, and applied what I understood to my daily life, I was healed. For more than two years I have been free from pain, strong, healthy, and content to look to God to supply all my needs, and never have I looked to Him in vain. The better understanding of God which I have gained has also helped me to understand those around me, especially my children, and I am indeed grateful to be able to give them a faith which will help and strengthen them in every detail of their daily life.
