Ten years ago I was healed of insomnia by reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I did not understand the book at the time, but the truth contained in each statement quieted my thought and healed me. I had not been able to sleep at all for weeks before I read Science and Health. I have also been healed of nervous prostration through Christian Science; and the encouragement and love of the Christian Science practitioner who treated me, helped me to go every day to my business and to lead a busy, active life.
The study of Christian Science has purified my entire thought and life. And as I have held in thought the spiritual idea of man, the real man, so beautifully described on page 115 of Science and Health as "God's spiritual idea, individual, perfect, eternal," my thought has become more spiritual and more loving.
Words cannot fully express my gratitude for Christian Science. I desire daily to know more of this truth which enables us to understand more of the infinite love of our Father-Mother God for His spiritual idea, man.— New York, New York
